Part 1: Men and Facial.

This gonna be a very long entry, cuz I am staying up to watch the Juve vs Liverpool match, and progress for revision has been quite slow since an hour ago, and they are showing Friends replay on tv at the moment (at least its not days of our lives right?). So here's the part 1 of the special two parts blog entry for this morning: I admit, I have not been diligently applying toner to my face at night. No wonder my complexion is still so bad. -shudders- oh no, i have told you man's best kept secret - we do facial too! No la, not really "facial". It started out with me teasing 发发 for doing "facial" every night. Toner, moisturizer, night repair, eye lid cream... whitening cream? ha ha, the latter was my recommendation for him due to his dark complexion. One day I shared this joke with my gf, and being a caring gf, she got me a bottle of nivea visage (yeah, that expensive brand!) refreshing toner. Everyone likes picture, there is a picture of it below, sitting on top of my pile of robotics notes on my messy table. And being a understanding bf, i started using it too, well, for a few weeks, on and off. ha ha. Seriously, I think its okay if men want to spend some money on taking care of their faces. No need to hide your daily activity behind the hostel doors, I have stepped forward to reveal the truth!

The Bridal Dowry.

The delivery of dowry ( 送嫁妆 ) is another important custom. It represents parent's effort for her daughter to have a good life after marriage and prepare her with the necessities for being a good wife. I am amazed by some of the things included in the dowry. Of course, in our modern living, we will not be using some of those things... Nevertheless, I think it is all good to have them, as each item carries a good meaning for our blissful marriage. :-)

Shopping for Perfume.

If you want to buy original but cheaper perfume in Singapore, you'd probably go to Lucky Plaza . You can bargain at the perfume shops in Lucky Plaza which is the exact reason why anyone would wanna shop at Lucky Plaza. I went there with a friend to shop for some perfume this afternoon. It was a shopping experience I never had before in Singapore. As a matter of fact, never before in my life or anywhere in the world. I usually visit the two shops near McDonald's . Today we decided check out another shop since we had walked from the "Lucky Plaza - Ngee Ann City underpass". We had in mind one of the brand we wanted. So after asking the price, we looked for the 2nd bottle of brand, but at a lower budget. We tested three, can't decide and asked for recommendation from the boss, an Indian lady (not being racist, its just the fact it happened to be an Indian shop). She showed me a black face (no pun intended! heh ) and said my budget was too low. She probably wasn'...

If you have it, just flaunt it.

Its such a lousy day, I have decided to blog another entry. Yesh, I am thinking about things other than my last two papers on Thurs and Friday. Something probably talked alot before by many people... What is it with men and women with 可爱-oooii *杨丞琳's voice* face, long tresses, slim legs, curvey body, in revealing tight clothes (only for those with the former characteristics), in pink. Why are men so attracted to those features? The guy is lying if he says he will not turn his head when he sees women with those features. I think it has nothing to do with men being lustful or anything disgusting. It probably has something to do with the genes, the hormones. I don't believe it has to do with things like its men's nature instinct to look for partners who can reproduce blahblahblah. That's so boring! Its something mysterious, something that let men derives pleasure by just looking openly, without doing anything bad or harmful or immoral. Do women ogle at men all the time too...
