First Trip to The Sands.

Microsoft launched the new productivity tools recently. Basically it refers to Office 2010, Visio and SharePoint... My colleagues and I were privileged to attend the launch at Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort (IR). Singapore's 2nd IR was still very much work in progress. The Flyer was starting to move lethargically... Workers having the morning brief... aka the first parade. An improvised safety helmet that keeps the scorching sun away as well... Looking out from inside the mall... A close up at the hull of the sky garden... From far the IR looks like a flight deck/hangar with its doors opening. Imagine space crafts from Star Wars landing and taking off. The helix bridge was more like a wind tunnel of sort. Jewelled Arts of India.

While there were plenty of things happening in life, I had been less than diligent in documenting them down. During my absence from this blog, I had met up some of my very good friends, enjoyed my family life, celebrated my birthday and my very best friend's. Yes today is his birthday, Happy Birthday 发发 ! Welcome to the club ! That is, the club of Thirties. And hopefully soon, I will welcome you to the club of married men and... :p That's a story for another day for now. During the Good Friday weekend, I visited the " Treasury of the World " exhibition at Asian Civilisation Museum with my dear wife. The exhibition featured over 400 pieces of Mughal jewellery from the al-Sabah collection, Kuwait. It was assembled over the last four decades by Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah and Sheikha Hussahh Sabah al-Salim al-Sabah of Kuwait. It is one of the world's greatest collections of Islamic art. But who are the Mughals? They are the descendants of Timur and Chigis

Chicken, Back on the Menu.

It was an ordinary breakfast, roast chicken noodle and soya milk. Nevertheless, it never tasted so good. With the exception of egg, seafood and food with yeast, I can resume a normal diet. What a relief! =)
