Complain Complain Complain.

The wake-up call brought me back to reality today. Nothing is as important as the exams now. But the intense pressure is mounting, too much for for any comfort. Just wanna complain abit. I am so sick that Singapore is so academic-results oriented. Yeah. So sick. Cuz I ain't getting any interviews so I wanna complain. Of cuz, there's nothing wrong with being results-oriented, if I am the employer, I'd probably want the best candidates - results is an indicator. Of cuz, please give this guy here who ain't quite developed up there in the area of academics a chance. Alright, thats much better now! You might wonder why I have so much time to blog, well, you don't need to have finish all that studying or be way ahead of your schedule to blog right? hee hee. My head is too big to mug right now. Anyway I will be working hard,constantly reminding myself of the wake-up call I had today. Now, on to some happy things. Below is a picture of the necklace I gave my girlfriend on her birthday beginning of the year. Yeah, I asked her to let me take a picture of it to show you that I too treasure her alot. ha ha. Its diamond lo. -show off- Abit small huh? ha ha. Don't get me wrong, I ain't rich or anything. In fact I'm a really poor bloke. =/ But its only right to dig into my savings once in a while to pamper my girl. Cuz she's worthed it.

Its such a lousy day, I have decided to blog another entry. Yesh, I am thinking about things other than my last two papers on Thurs and Friday. Something probably talked alot before by many people... What is it with men and women with 可爱-oooii *杨丞琳's voice* face, long tresses, slim legs, curvey body, in revealing tight clothes (only for those with the former characteristics), in pink. Why are men so attracted to those features? The guy is lying if he says he will not turn his head when he sees women with those features. I think it has nothing to do with men being lustful or anything disgusting. It probably has something to do with the genes, the hormones. I don't believe it has to do with things like its men's nature instinct to look for partners who can reproduce blahblahblah. That's so boring! Its something mysterious, something that let men derives pleasure by just looking openly, without doing anything bad or harmful or immoral. Do women ogle at men all the time too...

The Bridal Dowry.

The delivery of dowry ( 送嫁妆 ) is another important custom. It represents parent's effort for her daughter to have a good life after marriage and prepare her with the necessities for being a good wife. I am amazed by some of the things included in the dowry. Of course, in our modern living, we will not be using some of those things... Nevertheless, I think it is all good to have them, as each item carries a good meaning for our blissful marriage. :-)

Resolutions 2012.

While my one-year-old is going for his first steps, I am also learning to walk (again). 2011 was full of ups and downs.  I was promoted for the 2nd time in my first job. Not fantastic but not bad either after six years. The challenging issues justifies for the few more dollars increment to the stipend. Murphy is my good friend. With only the final milestone left, I hope to overcome all odds and pull the rabbit outta the hat in 2012! If I am lucky, I may run another project.  For the consecutive year, I expended all my medical leave. After hearing my story, some may say 父爱是伟大的. Some may think I was pure clumsy. As my son likes to watch basketball playing, I decided to show him how to do it myself. At first I felt good, I got it plenty of shots. Unfortunately, I broke my ACL while chasing after the ball. It has been two months and my knee is still weak and hurts occasionally. I plan to go for surgery in 2012, while performing the balancing act of pulling the rabbit and recup...
