The Missing Grand Slam.

Roger won his two years ago. Me? I completed my collection this year - jumbo ball, that is. It started with Wimbledon three years ago , Roland Garros last year, and I got Australian Open from Melbourne Park. The last but not the least, US Open for BBOF day this year. Now they sit nicely on my shelf. Of course, no celebration is complete without food. A memorable lunch at Cream Bristo (Pacific Plaza) - the Tofu salad was bigger than we had expected! My penne... Little drumlets missing their other half... Our smoothies... The jumbo ball is a befitting present from one tennis fan to another - RF's fans (to be more precise). Unfortunately, it is unlikely that I will visit the US Open this year. Otherwise, the final jumbo ball will be more significant. Let's just keep my fingers crossed and hope for miracle. :-p

Happy Birthday, BBOF!

祝琪琪:健康,美丽,快乐 !

Fifteen Minutes.

Before I continue with this post, I have an announcement to make: With this entry, I have made past the half millenium mark for the total number of blog entries! And this will be a happy entry befitting of such a mirthful milestone! :D After the delay at work, we finally made it to the 15 Minutes at around 8pm. Well, it was not too late as 15 Minutes closes at 11pm. Before I get anyone confused, we took more than 15 minutes to get to 15 Minutes. Around 30 minutes? :-p And... 15 Minutes is a cafe in LASALLE campus at McNally Street (behind Sim Lim Square). As expected of a cafe in the famous local art college, it was artfully furnished. The atmosphere was relaxing. There was a small stage, but no band was playing when we were there. Instead, the speakers were playing slow rock. The wooden tables were arranged in neat rows like what you'll find in a school tuckshop. BBOF had suggested this place after reading about it on the magazine. We had a difficult but fun time figuring out se...

Queen's Big Day!

Our Cherry Tea Queen , aka Stitchy-Sop , got married today! It was my honour to be part of her big day in a very small way! Thanks my dear Queen! -toast with a cuppa Earl Grey!- My first time as a wedding photographer was relatively stress-free as the couple had many very professional photographers to do the job. In fact, I was able to enjoy myself and immerse in the festivity of the Queen's bliss! It was fun! At the same time, I had the chance to "understudy" in preparation for my own big day. ;-) I will not be able to show you the photos unless the bride gives me the green light to release them to public. In any case, I think it will be better to wait for the official release of the professionals' works lah . Mine are only good enough for my personal appreciation. Hee Hee . However in the meantime, you can enjoy this photo of my gorgeous dear friend, who shared quite a bit of the limelight for the evening as well, as many people wanted to have individual photos take...

Elated!

World's biggest Wimbledon official tennis ball. Thank you dear friend! ;-) BBOF-F!

Cheer, The Big Sun.

Tonight, I went to 琦琦 's concert with 琪琪 ! Cheer Chen was really impressive! She sang for three solid hours!!! That must be one of the longest concert I ever been. There were many encores and she sang for every single one of them till the fans felt kinda bad for making her sing so many songs! It was the first time I hear her sing live! Her voice was really powerful and her skills were remarkable! It was even better than listening to her CD. She started out in a beautiful white dress with tattoo on her left arm. One the the fans held a light sign of a little sun with the word " 琦 "! In her second outfit, she dressed like a painter! Mid way through, she suddenly appeared on the crane! Then she made her way through the audience!!! Everyone stood up and the Indoor Stadium rocked with her! Yea, finally everyone were off their seats, befitting for enjoying Cheer's rock-style music! In her third outfit, she was back as a rockgurl! Then there was fireworks! Guitarist 阿虎 perf...

Dear Friend's Birthday 2009.

It was a belated birthday dinner for XTT-KC aka my BBOF . :-) Had a superb-super-mini-celebration on the actual day (Monday). Superb cuz we finally got to take a look at the present (which sat for almost four months in my wardrobe) and we ate delicious Swiss Bake chocolate truffle cake (which we didn't mind sharing the few extra pounds that came with it). But this dinner was also a great excuse for everyone to gather and enjoy the company - we certainly did. The venue was Mykii at Holland Village. This concept restaurant has some meaning tied to its name. It was the third Valentine's Day recommendation from HungryGoWhere that I tried. This one is good for birthdays as well. :-) The restaurant has Greek-style deco. The white-washed walls and blue cushion reminded me of the white buildings of Santorini of the Greek Islands. And the food? Let's take a look at some of the food we ate... The Birthday-Gurl had this, Seafood Linguine with laksa pesto (tossed with prawns, c...
