Either I am unhappy, or its the meatballs wrecking havoc in my tummy now. I can't really tell the difference... Recently, more emotional downtime than the whole of last year combined. Could be stress related or that I need a good sleep and will be fine in the morning. Have you ever seen an "angel" eating chicken wing? Well I did. And it was darn cute - the adorable but not ugly type. Zzzz time to tuck in. Driving away the Monday blues...

I am appalled. Ten people got off the bus, and I had to continue to stand on the steps of the 145. Nobody moved a single toe! On the other hand, there was an old lady who was much more intelligent than me. The bus stopped passed her. Knowing she couldn't squeeze with the rest at the front door, she boarded from the back and walked to the front to tap her card. No point being a gentleman and let those ladies up the bus first. Once they got up, they are gonna find a good place to lay eggs and not move. =p

After a string of small aliments, I am almost too glad that the day is ending, more importantly the weekends are here. After my left foot sorta recover this morning, my lower lip got swollen. I suspect the culprit is the lizard which crawled by my brushing cup. It always happen when my lips get indirectly contact with them. After the swell subsided in the late morning, rashes started to appear on my forehead. This I suspect was due to splashing of cold water on it when I wenta wash my itchy eyes. After lunch, the hot sun warmed up my forehead, removing the rashes. But the sudden change in temperature between outdoor and air-con indoor, and the stale air in the office triggered the sneezing frenzy. The floodgates opened. I suspect the Redoxen I drank played a part too. Felt weak after drinking. Maybe its expired! I continued to try hard at controlling my sneezes and runny nose during lessons later at night for three hours. Finally I can let go and sneeze as much and as loud as I want..

Call me "weak", I don't care. The heel of my left foot freaking hurts after Saturday's badminton game. The importance of warming up... Every step I take is a painful reminder. Literally. Even when I sit there and do nothing, it hurts. Next time I shall not just pay specific attention to warm up the old injuries areas. Else there will be more and more new ones. Old already... or just plain weak .

Needless to say, I am referring to Leonidas and his warriors in red capes. Top notch! This movie moved me with the idea of being fearless of death in defending the homeland, and love. I was blown away by the Spartan bravery, loyalty, pride, and fighting skills. My favorite moments were when King Leonidas kicked bad-ass Persian messenger into the pit and when Queen Gorgo spitted on and stabbed the bad-ass Theron. I punched my clenched fist in the air! I would like to recommend our SAF screen 300 to all new enlistees. Five star! Definitely, a five star movie.

Guess what is this? Lime? Grape? No lorh , it is Kiwi Berry ! What's Kiwi Berry? It's a sweet bite-size kiwi fruit with smooth skin! It's a type of hardy kiwi and has been in the market for a few years. Apparently it was shipped from Russia and China to the States two centuries ago! Tho' I have not seen it in our local supermarket before. Guess how much does a box of ten Kiwi berries cost? $3.65 ! Yeah, each kiwi berry cost more than thirty cents !

I think I felt more sober after a pint or two. Feeling more aware of my existence, more aware of my emotions. Heightened senses, endless deliberation. Then again, I was probably just less aware of my surroundings, nothing else seemed as important anymore.

Usually, I will mumble a soft "Thank you". Today, I gave her a weak smile, and it felt so much better. Kinda like a big relief for me. I think I was desperate for a reason to smile. I wanted to feel happy even when it was that little bit. Thanks to the auntie distributing Today papers at the MRT station, I got to do just that.

We were boys back then. Blink of an eye, boys are men now. Happy Birthday brother! We kick ass!!! Yeah!!! Panda boy took the picture for us. heh heh.

Seems like yesterday was Month-Thirty ... Time flies!

Advertisements are products of great creativity, well, I am referring to the good ones lah . Some folk decided to collect and showcase 50 amazing advertisements over a period of 5 months. Below are some of my favourites! So smooooooooth... And you thought Post-it are just for taking down quick notes and tagging your text? Who says politicians are boring? This is so hip leh ! Anyone dare to do one for our leaders? And this, its not an advertisement, just a really geeky tattoo! heh heh.

War films. I thought I had watched them all. I was wrong. The Letters from Iwo Jima is more than just a story of the Battle of Iwo Jima told from the Japanese's perspective. It tells the story of fighting a battle when knowing that losing is imminent. Besides following closely to the events of this battle, it intimately portrays the many different characters of the Japanese soldiers. It touched on issues of leadership, compassion, humanity, the dark sides of human, and loyalty (in both intelligent and foolish ways). Superb acting. Realistic effects. I find two scenes particularly memorable. One, where the MG gunner had his arm blown off. Two, where the men committed suicide by individually blowing themselves to death with grenades in the caves. I think what the movie may be trying to convey is that in a battle, no matter one is Japanese or American, he is following his conviction to protect his family by following the orders of his country's leader to go to war. Talk about bad service in Orchard Road, Dollars and Scent is not the only one. My girlfriend bought a pair of high heels from Trendy Zone at the Heerens on CNY eve. The shop is located at level four. Anyway, after she wore it on the first day, her mum noticed that one side of the heel was slanted. She may fall if she is not careful while walking. We went back to exchange for a new pair today. Not only we were told that we were not allowed to change, the sales assistant insisted that it is not possible to cause the heels to be slanted in just one day. Precisely! Unless she was implying my girlfriend is an elephant. But what she was probably really implying was that we were lying, and that my girlfriend wore it for many days before bringing it to change after she worn down the shoes. When we told her the shoes was this condition when we bought it, she said it was our fault for not noticing when my girlfriend tried it.
