TOML - Merde In Schiphol.


Thanks to KLM, we got an additional night stay in Schiphol, Holland. Not that we wanted to. I couldn't wait to get over with the 12-hour flight, get back to Singapore at 3.30 pm in the afternoon, just in time for the National Day Parade. Unfortunately, all plans turned to smoke. Our flight was delayed for 12 hours due to "technical faults in the plane". So we could only reach at 3.15 am in the morning after National Day.

I guess this didn't come as a surprise. I heard that KLM is notorious for delay flights. Perhaps when you have a large fleet with so many routes and flights, delays will occur more often?

For the delay, KLM gave us a complimentary one night hotel stay with dinner and breakfast. Technically, we were known as stranded passengers.


They were so nice to include a calling card as well. Notice its for five minutes! Woohoo! If you use 10 secs per call, you can make 30 calls!!! Hmmm...


They also gave us a toiletries pack with tee shirt and socks. No smelly feet!


Hmmm it'll be better if there are shorts and underwear?

Anyway I am just glad to finally reached home safely! We flew back in the Chichen-Itza Boeing 777-200. Home Sweet Home for real!


And I guess it'll be another hour or so before I get back to office for work. TGIF! Get ready for the souvenirs folks. Gotta go do my unpacking now! =)

Its such a lousy day, I have decided to blog another entry. Yesh, I am thinking about things other than my last two papers on Thurs and Friday. Something probably talked alot before by many people... What is it with men and women with 可爱-oooii *杨丞琳's voice* face, long tresses, slim legs, curvey body, in revealing tight clothes (only for those with the former characteristics), in pink. Why are men so attracted to those features? The guy is lying if he says he will not turn his head when he sees women with those features. I think it has nothing to do with men being lustful or anything disgusting. It probably has something to do with the genes, the hormones. I don't believe it has to do with things like its men's nature instinct to look for partners who can reproduce blahblahblah. That's so boring! Its something mysterious, something that let men derives pleasure by just looking openly, without doing anything bad or harmful or immoral. Do women ogle at men all the time too...

Saturday Afternoon Routine.

I just got back from the Saturday tuition sessions. It has been almost 5 months since I started.I have two classes of primary school children, P4 and P3, taking Maths and Science, and English, respectively. It has become a Saturday routine. A energy-draining activity. It is somehow different from giving volunteering tuition. When you are paid, the responsibility seems greater. And if you ain't doing a good job, someone else is readily available to take up yours. The fact that I really need that money, I have to put in more effort. Some students have left, and some have joined. I'm not sure whether they left cuz they think I ain't good 'nuff for them. But there are some who seem really happy and appreciative to have me around. On my first lesson, I set the ground rules for my classes. I told them my expectations on their behavior. On boy, how naive I was. Dreaming About You.

I usually leave my handphone on during the night (just in case if anyone want to contact me urgently, eg. a friend in need of help etc). But I think I will be leaving my phone off from now on. Why? In the wee hours this morning, I received three continuous sms . I forced myself outta bed to read the message, thinking it must be something very important. I surprised to read that they were messages from " Dreamchat ", telling me that " someone is dreaming of me ". Oh great! What a good reason to wake me up! It also asked me to call this 1900 number to listen to the message. There was even a member id at the end... So someone still wide awake in the middle of the night decided to use this wonderful service to let me know he/she is dreaming of me leh. wah seh. I immediately deleted the messages and went back to sleep. Knowing I will just have a few more hours of my six hours daily sleep time left. How did this " Dreamchat " thingy got my handphone number?
