Haunted SMRT Buses?

Are SMRT buses haunted? I was at the rear end of the bus this morning. There was about four-person standing gap between me and the next guy, the Yakult-man (nothing against the company, just for easy identification as he was wearing the Yakult shirt). A ten-minutes bus ride ended up almost twenty. Partially due to Mr Yakult-man. Not that he did any stun... he did nothing! Not even moving a single toe. The kind driver waited at every bus stop for people to squeeze up. Despite that, it was already filled to the steps of the front door. I must say those at the front end could not have done much as there were really quite a few stone-casted people between them and me. So easy to move them meh? Especially if it might had been haunted! Very difficult to convince people to move in lorh... Or was it because of me? -smells myself-

Sometimes its the case of poor planning that result in insufficient number of buses. Sometimes its just the commuters. Well, maybe planning can take account of such people too? I think it would help abit if the driver had been vocal, "Oei, move in leh, please thank you." Some miracles may occur... Or a dramatic passenger at the bus stop knocking the bus windows and then squeezing all the way into the bus to get a seat would help (remember the 145 incident?). As I stared at the angry but helpless faces at the bus stop, I tried to tell them thru' my tiny eyes, "I move in le hor... what to do, blame the Yakult-man lo, or complain to SMRT that their buses may be haunted la." After a while, I told myself, "So what. Just have to wait for the next bus..."

If you have it, just flaunt it.

Its such a lousy day, I have decided to blog another entry. Yesh, I am thinking about things other than my last two papers on Thurs and Friday. Something probably talked alot before by many people... What is it with men and women with 可爱-oooii *杨丞琳's voice* face, long tresses, slim legs, curvey body, in revealing tight clothes (only for those with the former characteristics), in pink. Why are men so attracted to those features? The guy is lying if he says he will not turn his head when he sees women with those features. I think it has nothing to do with men being lustful or anything disgusting. It probably has something to do with the genes, the hormones. I don't believe it has to do with things like its men's nature instinct to look for partners who can reproduce blahblahblah. That's so boring! Its something mysterious, something that let men derives pleasure by just looking openly, without doing anything bad or harmful or immoral. Do women ogle at men all the time too...

What Do You Think?

What makes a good leader? Some will say a good leader is someone who can bring the best out of his/her people. How do you bring the best out of his/her people? Some will say by giving pointers and guidance.  How do you give pointers and guidance? Some will talk. In fact, most will just talk.  I think a good leader should be someone who walk the talk, not just talk. A good leader gets his/her hands dirty to show his/her people the way. Some may say this is spoon-feeding. I think otherwise. For example, if your staff ask you for guidance on work, most bosses would dispense some wise words, "Do this, look out for this, highlight this...". At the end of the day, the staff will come back to the bosses with the work and bosses will say, "no no, do this, not that". I would think a good leader should draft out the frame on the actual work (may it be slides or documents), then dispense his words of wisdom.
