Tagged!

"Been tagged. So i'm tagging you"

I've been tagged by Sunshine.

Rules of the game:
Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose six people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks!

1. The first song I have to listen every morning on my Zen Neeon is Bic Runga's Sway. It gives me a soothing and calm feel, drives away the blues.

2. I like my fries plain. No chili, no ketchup. Occasionally abit of mayo is fine... But I still prefer it plain.

3. People often think that I don't take spicy food. That is because I don't like to add chili for my dishes, eg. I don't add chili to my chicken rice, I don't eat noodles with chili. But I do take spicy food. In fact some of my favorite dishes are spicy, eg. Curry Chicken, Tom Yam Gong, Curry Fishhead, etc.

4. The one emotion I can't cope well is the feeling I get when people I care ignore me. Intensional or unintentional. Sometimes being a "sensitive" guy isn't that great. It can be really tiring to understand things implicitly. And the SNAG is getting out-dated right? Just be straight forward with me okay?

5. I had my first crush and first rejection at ten. She was taller than me then. Seventeen years on, I think she's still abit taller than me bah. I think I have trouble getting into the good books of taller girls. Hah hah.

6. I hate losing. But I am rarely a winner. I think coming in second or third, is not that bad. Being one of the top few is good enough bah. I really hate losing, I wanna win win win!

7. When I was in primary three, the discipline master made me stand in front of the school during flag lowering ceremony. He said I was talking and when I tried to explain, he slapped me. Actually I was only asking my classmate for tissue to wipe my glasses. It was the only time anyone slapped me. I cried. I felt ashamed. I kept it to myself.

8. I hated Mathematics since primary school. I'm not sure how I ended up being an engineer and a Mathematics tutor.

9. I always think that imitation is the best form of flattery, but credit should be given when due. My favourite form of creativity is combining others' ideas together. That is why I love software engineering. Doesn't mean I am good at it tho'. =p

10. I like coming up with lists and doing this kinda silly questions. I also like going against the rules. So let the buck stops here.

Feel free to come up with your own ten weird things or habits or little known facts on your blog, or even in the comments of this post if you don't have a blog. That's certainly a reason to comment. ;op

The Bridal Dowry.

The delivery of dowry ( 送嫁妆 ) is another important custom. It represents parent's effort for her daughter to have a good life after marriage and prepare her with the necessities for being a good wife. I am amazed by some of the things included in the dowry. Of course, in our modern living, we will not be using some of those things... Nevertheless, I think it is all good to have them, as each item carries a good meaning for our blissful marriage. :-)

Shopping for Perfume.

If you want to buy original but cheaper perfume in Singapore, you'd probably go to Lucky Plaza . You can bargain at the perfume shops in Lucky Plaza which is the exact reason why anyone would wanna shop at Lucky Plaza. I went there with a friend to shop for some perfume this afternoon. It was a shopping experience I never had before in Singapore. As a matter of fact, never before in my life or anywhere in the world. I usually visit the two shops near McDonald's . Today we decided check out another shop since we had walked from the "Lucky Plaza - Ngee Ann City underpass". We had in mind one of the brand we wanted. So after asking the price, we looked for the 2nd bottle of brand, but at a lower budget. We tested three, can't decide and asked for recommendation from the boss, an Indian lady (not being racist, its just the fact it happened to be an Indian shop). She showed me a black face (no pun intended! heh ) and said my budget was too low. She probably wasn'...

If you have it, just flaunt it.

Its such a lousy day, I have decided to blog another entry. Yesh, I am thinking about things other than my last two papers on Thurs and Friday. Something probably talked alot before by many people... What is it with men and women with 可爱-oooii *杨丞琳's voice* face, long tresses, slim legs, curvey body, in revealing tight clothes (only for those with the former characteristics), in pink. Why are men so attracted to those features? The guy is lying if he says he will not turn his head when he sees women with those features. I think it has nothing to do with men being lustful or anything disgusting. It probably has something to do with the genes, the hormones. I don't believe it has to do with things like its men's nature instinct to look for partners who can reproduce blahblahblah. That's so boring! Its something mysterious, something that let men derives pleasure by just looking openly, without doing anything bad or harmful or immoral. Do women ogle at men all the time too...
