The Chicken Pox Ordeal.

Some people say that it is an ordeal for adults to suffer from chicken pox. Well, I'm experiencing it first hand. So it will be two weeks of relaxing holiday to enjoy myself? Not! It is only Day 2 and I dread the days to come.

It started out with just a few tiny red spots. The medication every three hours kept the number of blisters to the minimum. I didn't dare to scratch as I am not sure if I will accidentally burst any blisters. Crazy fevers and headaches came and went. One moment I was okay, the next I was dizzy and weak.

During the hours which I broke the medication cycle, my fever shot up to 38.9 degree Celsius. I couldn't sleep at all, especially with inconsiderate neighbours blasting "Hotel California" and "Eye of the Tiger" repeatedly at 2am. Great taste of music... but WTH... 2am?!

This morning, there was a major outbreak. I have since lost count of my blisters. Red patches known as "rose petals" had appeared on my face. What a "wonderful" name but it is depressing...

I guess my body had tried it's best to battle the virus thru' the night. And all is not that bad as my wife had been working from home to take of me. She's sweet! She cried after seeing my terrible state...

So when's the next hour for medication again?

Hope you'd get well soon.
Any inconsiderate act by neighbours after 11pm means I would call the police. The appearance of the policeman usually puts a stop to such nonsense. Try that and rest well.

Take care man, getting chicken pox as an adult is definitely not as smooth going as being a young child.

The Bridal Dowry.

The delivery of dowry ( 送嫁妆 ) is another important custom. It represents parent's effort for her daughter to have a good life after marriage and prepare her with the necessities for being a good wife. I am amazed by some of the things included in the dowry. Of course, in our modern living, we will not be using some of those things... Nevertheless, I think it is all good to have them, as each item carries a good meaning for our blissful marriage. :-)

Shopping for Perfume.

If you want to buy original but cheaper perfume in Singapore, you'd probably go to Lucky Plaza . You can bargain at the perfume shops in Lucky Plaza which is the exact reason why anyone would wanna shop at Lucky Plaza. I went there with a friend to shop for some perfume this afternoon. It was a shopping experience I never had before in Singapore. As a matter of fact, never before in my life or anywhere in the world. I usually visit the two shops near McDonald's . Today we decided check out another shop since we had walked from the "Lucky Plaza - Ngee Ann City underpass". We had in mind one of the brand we wanted. So after asking the price, we looked for the 2nd bottle of brand, but at a lower budget. We tested three, can't decide and asked for recommendation from the boss, an Indian lady (not being racist, its just the fact it happened to be an Indian shop). She showed me a black face (no pun intended! heh ) and said my budget was too low. She probably wasn'...

If you have it, just flaunt it.

Its such a lousy day, I have decided to blog another entry. Yesh, I am thinking about things other than my last two papers on Thurs and Friday. Something probably talked alot before by many people... What is it with men and women with 可爱-oooii *杨丞琳's voice* face, long tresses, slim legs, curvey body, in revealing tight clothes (only for those with the former characteristics), in pink. Why are men so attracted to those features? The guy is lying if he says he will not turn his head when he sees women with those features. I think it has nothing to do with men being lustful or anything disgusting. It probably has something to do with the genes, the hormones. I don't believe it has to do with things like its men's nature instinct to look for partners who can reproduce blahblahblah. That's so boring! Its something mysterious, something that let men derives pleasure by just looking openly, without doing anything bad or harmful or immoral. Do women ogle at men all the time too...
