Which Hat?

Considering what I have done so far this week, it had been a rather productive day. After more than 20 hours of sitting in front of the laptop (with short breaks occasionally), I finally managed to finished one >2000-word economics essay and a 65-page software testing lab report. Yes, 65-page. Isn't that scary? All those appendice. ho ho ho. -laughs like rukia- Got a feelin' I took those assignments too seriously. The priority task right now should be completing the fyp and the report which I have hardly touched since typing the chapter one for my interim submission (Refer to blog entry 1, warned yer 'bout this coming). But I ain't really complaining, afterall two assignments down means two less worries.

I guess blogging can really take some stress off the things I have to do, like what most people say on their blogs. In fact, anything else other than work is relaxing. ha ha.

Its such a lousy day, I have decided to blog another entry. Yesh, I am thinking about things other than my last two papers on Thurs and Friday. Something probably talked alot before by many people... What is it with men and women with 可爱-oooii *杨丞琳's voice* face, long tresses, slim legs, curvey body, in revealing tight clothes (only for those with the former characteristics), in pink. Why are men so attracted to those features? The guy is lying if he says he will not turn his head when he sees women with those features. I think it has nothing to do with men being lustful or anything disgusting. It probably has something to do with the genes, the hormones. I don't believe it has to do with things like its men's nature instinct to look for partners who can reproduce blahblahblah. That's so boring! Its something mysterious, something that let men derives pleasure by just looking openly, without doing anything bad or harmful or immoral. Do women ogle at men all the time too...

Saturday Afternoon Routine.

I just got back from the Saturday tuition sessions. It has been almost 5 months since I started.I have two classes of primary school children, P4 and P3, taking Maths and Science, and English, respectively. It has become a Saturday routine. A energy-draining activity. It is somehow different from giving volunteering tuition. When you are paid, the responsibility seems greater. And if you ain't doing a good job, someone else is readily available to take up yours. The fact that I really need that money, I have to put in more effort. Some students have left, and some have joined. I'm not sure whether they left cuz they think I ain't good 'nuff for them. But there are some who seem really happy and appreciative to have me around. On my first lesson, I set the ground rules for my classes. I told them my expectations on their behavior. On boy, how naive I was. Resolutions 2012.

While my one-year-old is going for his first steps, I am also learning to walk (again). 2011 was full of ups and downs.  I was promoted for the 2nd time in my first job. Not fantastic but not bad either after six years. The challenging issues justifies for the few more dollars increment to the stipend. Murphy is my good friend. With only the final milestone left, I hope to overcome all odds and pull the rabbit outta the hat in 2012! If I am lucky, I may run another project.  For the consecutive year, I expended all my medical leave. After hearing my story, some may say 父爱是伟大的. Some may think I was pure clumsy. As my son likes to watch basketball playing, I decided to show him how to do it myself. At first I felt good, I got it plenty of shots. Unfortunately, I broke my ACL while chasing after the ball. It has been two months and my knee is still weak and hurts occasionally. I plan to go for surgery in 2012, while performing the balancing act of pulling the rabbit and recup...
