Had my dinner with girlfriend at Shokudo just now. We went to that outlet at Citylink, which sell Japanese Pasta. I think previously ZQ went to the other outlet at Raffles City. Perhaps as it was a Monday evening, there was no queue and we got our seat promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant gave me a Japanese High School/Slamdunk kinda feeling. I am not sure how to describe that. But my girlfriend disagreed. According to her, Shokudo means "canteen" in Japanese! After going thru' the menu for more than five minutes, we settled for pasta (they have curry rice too! Must try it next time!). There was great variety in the menu, pasta in different sauces. I ordered the Salmon Butter Yaki Ikura with wafu sauce. I am not sure what exactly is wafu sauce. It tasted of olive oil and parsley. Whatever sauce "wafu" is, it tasted so so.
