Did you hear the siren at 12 noon today? It was another day, before the siren reminded me the terrible event that happened 65 years ago. I will always remember this bit of Singapore history. On the first day of Chinese New Year in 15 February 1942, Singapore fell to the Japanese Occupation. In war, there is no right or wrong, just innocent people who suffers the wrath of destruction.

Having written about " crush " and " love ", I think Valentine's is also about friendship. Whereas love is about faithful, and friendship is about loyalty, both are about trust, commitment and appreciation. It's Valentine's Day . Well, it is not yet as at the time I wrote this entry. I am gonna reveal the Valentine's Day present because the big day is finally over. We celebrated Valentine's Day in advance to avoid the crowd and because she have lessons at night coming Wednesday. It's a silver gold pink sapphire bracelet bangle . It's no typo. Not the usual blue sapphire, but the rare pink sapphire . The perfect colour and elegant design for my dearest! While I was squeezing my way out of the train this morning, a man stood smack right in the middle of the door on the platform. He gestured me to siam (get out of the way), as he tried to force his way into the crowded train. Another woman on the bus refused to take the inner seat, kiao ka (put leg on knee) and deprived an old woman of the seat. They nearly ruin my beautiful Friday morning! Luckily, the sight of the-most-beautiful-girl-on-145 , whom I see quite often, saved the day!

Imagine this: you are given a billion dollars. However, you are told that you can only use this money to buy a jet plane. And you must make your purchase within twenty-four hours, ie. the plane must be delivered by tomorrow. You are constantly reminded to quickly spend that money. When you finally find a deal with Boeing which is well below your budget, you are told that the price is too steep and AirBus offers better price. However, AirBus can only deliver next month. Too late. So what if you are given a billion dollars? No, I did not get a single cent. But I am in an equally frustrating situation. =(

If you want to buy original but cheaper perfume in Singapore, you'd probably go to Lucky Plaza . You can bargain at the perfume shops in Lucky Plaza which is the exact reason why anyone would wanna shop at Lucky Plaza. I went there with a friend to shop for some perfume this afternoon. It was a shopping experience I never had before in Singapore. As a matter of fact, never before in my life or anywhere in the world. I usually visit the two shops near McDonald's . Today we decided check out another shop since we had walked from the "Lucky Plaza - Ngee Ann City underpass". We had in mind one of the brand we wanted.
