Remember the entry on my visit to NHM not so long ago? Well, my shy-neighbour-in-the-office visited it last weekend. He took a couple of pictures which I did not capture the last time, so I thought it'd be nice to show you guys.
The first is the Singapore Stone.
I don't remember much about the stone, can you see the inscriptions? Anyway if you want to find out more about it, you may wanna consider asking my shy-neighbour-in-the-office. He seems to know the story very well! I thought it was the first recorded known act of vandalism in the history of Singapore. However, according to him, this part of a bigger rock at the mouth of Singapore River long long ago. I guess it must had left a deep impression in him, after taking that picture, he caught the attention of the curator.
That explains why the only other picture he took was this six-colour chair.
According to him, the theme is "Where Green Is", as there are only 6 colours. The lil' sign on it says "Please Do Not Sit". So, please try not to, when you see it during your visit okay? Else the curator may blame me for putting these photos on my blog. :op
