What a beautiful sight! And hopefully a brilliant sign on what is to come for us in this New Year! We saw a rainbow across the late afternoon sky of Orchard Road. My dear remarked how rare it is to see rainbows in the sky. I thought to myself, Mother Nature has some other wonders in the sky which we may never get to see in person in our lifetime - Clouds. When you think clouds, what come to your mind? Cirrus, stratus, nimbus? Well, there are some other really strange clouds out there.

These strange beauties are known as Lenticular clouds. More fantastic pictures of them here!
The delivery of dowry ( 送嫁妆 ) is another important custom. It represents parent's effort for her daughter to have a good life after marriage and prepare her with the necessities for being a good wife. I am amazed by some of the things included in the dowry. Of course, in our modern living, we will not be using some of those things... Nevertheless, I think it is all good to have them, as each item carries a good meaning for our blissful marriage. :-)
