Did another stun just now. I bought a packet of laksa back to room for dinner, but my room no bowl loh... how to eat laksa without a bowl? And I am not as talented as 发发 who has mastered his "Pan Yun 掌" (I also not sure what is that), and can hold the packet of noodle in one hand, while he eat with another. Lucky I still have the CNY goodie "gong4" around. Managed to squeeze the packet of laksa into the gong4. This gong4 very useful leh, used to hold pineapple tarts, then I used it to hold some crackers, and now, laksa. Its good to keep such containers around, you'll never know when you need one loh. Btw, canteen one laksa quite delicious lah, shiok ah! *oyishi!* *oooooooooooooooi!* *sugoihhhhhhhhhhhhhh* yum yum (don't laugh, I don't know jap, can only say a few words I learned from japan hour and animes), still perspiring leh, I'll probably miss it...
The delivery of dowry ( 送嫁妆 ) is another important custom. It represents parent's effort for her daughter to have a good life after marriage and prepare her with the necessities for being a good wife. I am amazed by some of the things included in the dowry. Of course, in our modern living, we will not be using some of those things... Nevertheless, I think it is all good to have them, as each item carries a good meaning for our blissful marriage. :-)
